and the bad blogger award goes to....

you know i would win the award hands-down  if such an award existed.  i had this great plan -- if you can remember way back when i blogged about it -- of posting every day for 30 whole days.  obviously, that didn't happen.  i also planned --but didn't blog about -- getting all my Christmas shopping done by the first week of december.  obviously, that didn't happen.  i was going to budget  for the holidays and stick with it. obviously, that didn't happen.  i was going to do a ton of Christmas activities with miss priss. obviously, that didn't happen.  all of this to say it has been a busy whirl wind of a december and i for one can't wait to ring in the new year.  i have plans -- and am sticking to them!-- to meet up with three of the sweetest girls from blog land!  if you aren't following Jill, Sarah, or Kristy then i can assure you, you are missing out! I will be back with great stories from what i know will be an epic day!

also in the blog line up...
hair changes everything
cookie baking is not for dummies
who asked for a Foosball table?
Christmas with the kranks emersons
the aftermath

i hope you all are enjoying your last week of 2010!

Day 3. your favorite teacher ...

robin bass spangler.
RBS was my english & creative writing teacher. i adored her. her passion for life was undeniable. She was a happy, funny beautiful soul who unfortunately left this world too soon when she passed away with her third and final battle with cancer.  she touched so many people, and i am honored to have known her.

Day 2.your definition of success ...

success...
the ability to make it through the day with a smile.
making a perfectly toasted bagel.
getting out of the house in the morning without raising my voice.
being able to find clothes in my closet.
creating the perfect poof.
remembering to not sweat the small stuff.
finding joy in the midst of sadness.
believing there is a higher power.
knowing its okay to not always be perfect.

what is your definition of success?

day 1. your biggest accomplishment...

i know that it may seem a little cliche. but its so true. my biggest accomplishment hands down is my daughter. there is nothing better than knowing that i have her to love every day for the rest of my life. there is nothing better then hearing her laughter, seeing her smile, and watching her grow.  is it hard being a mom? absolutely. do i make mistakes? everyday. do i constantly worry and question my mothering abilities? yes. but it is all totally, completely, undoubtably worth it.
