ava played in her first ever soccer tournament on saturday, and had a great time!  she had 4 games, and did pretty well!  she enjoyed playing with her friends, getting her face painted, receiving her trophy and dancing to the loud music :) even though she was a muddy mess, it was well worth it!

game recap!

ava had her first soccer game this weekend!  i was in austin for work and sadly had to miss it, but that didn't stop her from tearing up the field!

they started out with some warm up drills to get the blood pumping ;)

then it was time to hit the field!  girlfriend scored 6 or 7 goals (they don't keep track at this age level, but you know i'll be tallying anyway!)!  apparently, she is on her way to going pro --- and i am sure the fact that there are no goalies in the age group has nothing to do with her success :)

when she wasn't racking up points, you could find her chasing down the ball and hanging with her teammates!

so proud of our girl!  who knew being a soccer mom could be so fun?
